Dining Kitchen: Cosy, sunny room with antique dresser and plates and dining table to seat four. Equipment: electric cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, freezer, automatic washing machine (free use of shared tumble drier), pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, iron.

The cottage has a magnificent original stone fireplace in the sitting room where you can toast your feet on a glowing log fire, and there is also electric central heating throughout the property.All electricity and economy 7 central heating costs are included in the cottage price, as well as one bag of coal and logs/week.

For a small extra charge (£10/dog/stay) we are happy to accept dogs provided that they are not exercised in the garden or left alone in the cottage at any time. There is off road parking for one car and extra on street parking available nearby.

The price for the cottage includes hire of linen, towels and tea towels, and everyday cleaning materials are provided for you to use during your stay, so all you need to worry about bringing from home is your clothes and toiletries. There is a small shop in the village where you can buy groceries (including delicious home made cakes!) and newspapers. 

If you prefer to dine out rather than cook when you’re on holiday then staying in Burnsall will be a treat for you as there are so many good eateries in the area. The Fountaine Inn at Linton www.fountaineinnatlinton.co.uk is a cosy traditional style pub, only 3 miles from Burnsall, The Angel at Hetton www.angelhetton.co.uk ,6 miles, has won many foodie awards, whilst the Tennant Arms at Kilnsey www.tennantarms.co.uk, 5 miles, and the Clarendon Hotel at Hebden, 2 miles, are popular dining out destinations for local folk
